Very nice starter kit for a beginner.

The kit itself is exactly what I was looking for. The brush is soft on the skin but firm enough to create a good lather. The soap smells great and the razor does it’s job perfectly. The only issue I have is the razor is very cheap. I guess for the price I should have expected but the pictures don’t do it justice. That being said it holds a blade and cuts hair so it’s functionality perfect.

New to straight razors.

I love everything I bought. I will be trying my Dovo classic when the razor oil comes in. There are kits labeled as “starter kits but I feel it doesn’t come with EVERYTHING you may need such as the oil. I did a lot of research and nowhere does anyone say to oil the razor after use to prevent rusting. You think it would be in Bold type. It would help move more oil as well.
