Classic Shaving Soap is the best

Excellent! The soap is long-lasting, laters well into a rich soap that enables a close and comfortable shave. The scents are well done without being too much.

Pretty good

This is the first shave soap I ever bought and I really enjoy it. It feels great going on, feels great while I'm shaving, and my face feels good after shaving. It has dried out on me in spots, but I attribute that to me still figuring out how to build a good lather. My only critique of the product is the scent. I was expecting at least a mild pine scent, but this product didn't smell like pine at all; it just smelled like shave soap. I do enjoy the plain smell of shave soap and, again, the product works great, which is why I gave it four stars. But, I was hoping for a strong scent (and expecting at least some scent) and I was disappointed in that respect.

Leaves a lot to be desired

Obviously this review is based on my experience and your experience may vary. With that said, this soap leaves a lot to be desired. Pros: lathers easily, cheap (at least while it’s on sale), and the lather usually stays together pretty well but I’ve had it dry out on me a couple times so that’s my fault probably. Cons: The scent is pretty weak and I’d describe it as “pine-ish”. While the soap lathers well and the lather can whip up thick, every time I use it i don’t get a very comfortable shave. The shave doesn’t feel close, razor burn, and the after shave feel is ok. Some may like the weak pine-ish smell and may have a better experience with the protection of the soap, but multiple tries have turned into bad experiences.
