Feast your eyes on our new favorite box strop from the European wet-shaving experts at Strop-It. This extra large, extra long strop has a very large ergonomic French style handle which makes handling the strop very easy, but as the strop has actually 2" in clearance, it can be simply laid on a table and used with a technique similar to honing. This simply can not be done on smaller strops.

• 4 sides of 300 x 50 mm (11 3/4" x 2") leather - 2 sides different colored rough leather ideal for pastes. - 1 side napped and oil-tanned cow’s leather for fine stropping. - 1 side premium smooth calf leather for finish stropping.

• Leathers are all different to easily differentiate; however at handle end there are “memory dots” which identify each leather and the stropping progression.

• Specially large-sized ergonomic French-style handle for firm grip and ease of use.

• Razor storage in end of strop - Holds most razors from 4/8 to 8/8 in size. - Closes with pivoting end-piece with bullet catch. - The stored razor is held firmly and protected by 2 leather covered foam pressure pads. - 2 round identations at the storage-end of the strop make it easy to pull out your razor.

• All of this weighs ONLY 1 lb (470 grams). • With the 2" (50 mm+) clearance in use, one can simply lay the strop on a table and use almost like a hone!

• Comes in a protective tie-on carton sheath. 4-sided extra-large and long razor strop Open Closed

*Razor not included with strop.

The strop is nice, but the smoothest leather is glued on "lumpy" so it doesn't finish strop evenly. The razor storage is nice. Should have bought a regular strop for the job.
