The specially designed "Prebeau" model is precision machined from Solid Stainless Steel and Satin Finished. This very special razor is intended for women who want the closeness of a straight razor shave but have sensitive skin that will not tolerate a conventional razor. Originally designed in Japan as a razor especially suited to a woman's needs, its lighter weight and smaller size make it very maneuverable and easy-to-use. The handle pivot is assembled using a removable screw assembly which also easily permits adjusting pivot tension. The razor design incorporates an over-sized tang to better accomodate multiple fingers and both jimps and non-slip shank inserts to assure a secure grip for wet hands. The razor handle is made of a special polymer that has exceptional heat and chemical resistant properties which allow complete razor immersion in boiling water sanitizing solutions or even autoclaving. The "Prebeau" razor uses a special one-body stainless steel"caged" blade designed to maintain a comfort zone between your skin and the blade edge permitting a close yet very comfortable shave without irritation to sensitive skin.
